Swamp Shad
The Swamp Shad is the first cousin to the Storm Minnow. Same size, same paddle tail design but with a solid colored body and chartreuse tail designed for dirty or stained water conditions. We’ve found that dirty water calls for darker colors and pressured or cold water fish sometimes need a bait that triggers a reaction bite. In either case, it’s all about contrast and the Swamp Shad delivers. It’s a great search bait for trout when fished on a ¼ ounce plain jig head under a popping cork or on a spinner bait jig head for bass and redfish. Rig it on a 3/8 or ½ ounce jig head when jigging deeper stained water around bridge pilings in the fall and spring or rig legs in the summer. Customize it by adding 4mm eyes with the integrated eye sockets.
